You're Invited: Online Discussion on the Role of Vendors in Detection Dog Industry, July 8, 7 PM ET
The AKC Detection Dog Task Force (DDTF) was established to help address the global shortage of detection dogs and encourage the breeding and development of homegrown hero dogs that can achieve the rigorous standards necessary to be an explosives detection dog. The AKC Detection Dog Task Force, under the purview of the Government Relations department, works with experts from academia, government/ public policy, military, policing, training and breeding to create multi-pronged solutions to help address the shortage of U.S. detection dogs.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have had to cancel AKC’s annual Detection Dog Conference. However, we are excited to continue the dialog by offering you the opportunity to participate, at no cost, in a series of virtual networking sessions using online webinar technology.
